Thank you

Hello to everyone and on behalf of both of us, thank you for all of your support! We are both incredibly humbled and taken aback by the global support we have received for our little project.

I am sure most of you have been following the construction progress on facebook, twitter and the news section of the website.

As a early supporting crowd funder this would not be happening without you, we will always remember that and be thankful. We want to give you a more in depth update as to the progress of Dornoch Distillery.

Things are happening!

Things are happening!

So where are we!? This week the floor has been poured and polished, industrial drains have been connected, electric cables have been uncovered ready for connection on Tuesday, external drains have been uncovered and will hopefully be replaced next week, channels for the water pipes have been dug ready for connection and the builders have started pointing the walls!

Shiny.

Shiny.

Last week we had a very successful trip to London & Kent. We meet up with our bottle manufacturer,  we have a really exciting design which unfortunately we cannot unveil yet, but we are very happy and it ties in nicely with the old-fire station!

We also met our botanical supplier to start working on the 'experimental batches' for our gin. The guys we are working with are extremely knowledgeable and excited to be working with Dornoch Distillery!

This Tuesday we also met with the company who we will be working with for the brand design. They are very professional, with a great portfolio created for various drinks companies. We will share some of the designs with you guys for feedback in the future!

Did I mention we have a World Famous Whisky bar! Come visit us :-)

Orders have been placed for all of our plant equipment, we have already started receiving items - Heat Exchangers, mill, mash-tun will be arriving fairly soon. It's all very exciting..... and scary!

Again, on behalf of both us we are so humbled and thankful for the support from everyone. We would not be at this stage!

Please email us if you have any feedback and suggestions for us and our wee project :-)
