In 1943 the airstrip was taken over by a new command and was then used for storing Beaufighters & Lancasters where it reached it's maximum capacity in 1945 with planes being prepared for service rather than storage. Distillers Notes: Batch 9 is a long slow distillation of our base blend which has been combined with a large quantity of single distillations of lemon peel and black peppercorns. Mixes very well with tonic; citrus driven gin with a spicy finish.
